JT Thorpe Site Lists

The following is a list of the modifications to the JTTS Land and Ship Lists approved at the September 2013 Trustees’ meeting.

1. Date Modification to the JTTS Land Site List:

National Lead and Chemical, Salt Lake City – Start Date 11/1/1971 to 1/31/1973
2. Remove from the JTTS Ships List:

Marvin – JT Thorpe only worked on the SS Marven which is already on the list.
3. End Date Modification to the JTTS Ships List:

Kennebec – end date should be 5/30/1945 – the list currently has the end date as 5/30/1975, but the ship was decommissioned in 1970 and the JT Job Books only show one job in May 1945.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a hearing on the motion to approve J.T. Thorpe Settlement Trust’s Seventh Annual Report and Accounting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. before United States Bankruptcy Court Judge, the Honorable Sheri Bluebond, at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, Los Angeles Division, located at 255 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, California 90012 in Courtroom 1475.

J.T. Thorpe Payment Percentage Review

Section 4.2 of the Trust Distribution Procedures requires that the Payment Percentage be reconsidered no less frequently than once every three years. The Payment Percentage was last reviewed on February 18, 2010 (see all reviews and changes in past notices and in Archive notices). On February 7, 2013, the Payment Percentage was again reviewed and it remains at 45%.
